Rookiepainter

30x40, Pastel on tinted paper

Jen and Rookiepainter blog. Jen knows a lot about composition, shapes, colors. Every new challenge is the exam and intrigue. And one of my pleasures is to see the works of the participants, to learn and to be inspired.

Thank you Jen for this opportunity, I am sorry I was late, so I post my entry here and hope to be in time with next challenge photo.

  1. I like how you did a great job with the folds in the fabric and all the colors and nuances you used! You're right, this is definitely an interesting subject. I have seen quite a number of interpretations so far - each is different and most are really beautiful.

  4. Hi Irina. You did a very nice piece of art in this challenge. I'm thinking that I will begin participating in this challenge. I dropped out of challenges after DSFDF went away.

Here's hoping that you will continue your artistic growth in the new year.
