I like to watch a lot of pro artists' videos, to learn and to enjoy their process.
Recently the woman turned on the projector and projected the photo of facial image to the wall with canvas. Should I say that the final drawing looked perfect?
The same day the boy in the video took his camera and made the photo of fruit salad he was eating. Then, in Photoshop, he used the beautiful colors of fruits as the background reference to the comics he worked on. The final work looked so color balanced.
When I use other people's photos of birds like source of inspiration and directions, do I cheat or is it a mainstream? And the awareness that perfect artists do not exist is so very calming to me.
