Sketchbook pages

Yesterday sketches of the tulips on kitchen table and group of men eating Georgian food in Georgian cafe.
It felt so good to hold the brush and pen after a week without it.

While browsing at "Wet canvas"  (press the link here) I found very interesting summary of Zbukvich's book about watercolor, I printed it and now keep repeating and trying to follow.

  1. Hola Irina! Me encantan esos tulipanes rojos, tal vez sea porque es mi color preferido pero me gustan mucho. Formidable tambien el boceto del cafe de Georgia. Un saludo.

Hi Irina! I love those red tulips, perhaps because it's my favorite color but I like a lot. Formidable also a sketch of the cafe in Georgia. A greeting.

  2. Quisiera tener esos tulipanes en un jarrón en mi sala principal... Preciosos... Las flores me resultan difíciles en acuarela... Este es un buen logro, Irina.

    Un abrazo,

  3. I like your tulips, but I love your sketch with the Georgian men, it is just like looking in through the window and see them sitting there , I like the scene. You do really good sketches. Big hug

  4. Beautiful tulips, to realize that the spring has arrived, since the drawings are superb with a delicacy in the features and very light.
    Congratulations and a big hug

  5. I like the red tulips, the kind of loose free spirited handling of the subject. The sketch is pretty cool too Irina!

  6. 1Very beautiful your latest sketches, Irina!

  7. Dear Irina,
Welcome back. Lovely tulips and a nice drawing. Keep up. Enjoy painting:)!!
    Cheers, Sadami

  8. Hi Irina,
I like these expresive tulips, love colours!
    Good sketch as well. Congratulations.

  9. The tonalities of the tulips are great and the Georgian cafe scene is beautiful, quiet and reflects the mood perfectly and poetically! (In a way photography hardly do)

  10. keep sketching irina ... v good summary

  11. Your tulips are truly lovely, Irina! A nice handling of the colors and a nice composition!
